Corporate Interior Design
When you do corporate interior design, you are usually designing or decorating an office or even a full
office building. The décor you choose should reflect both the business that is conducted there and the tastes of the owners. You should
first gain a good idea of all the functional needs of the particular space and then incorporate these into the design you develop. Offices
that are well-designed are pleasing to the eye, yet functional for those who work there. Colors are usually muted and varied. The matching
of colors adds to the ambinace of the office.
Information technology has come to play a large part in today’s corporate interior design. Graphic designs
that advertise the office business should be placed so that they will be noticed, but not overpowering. The whole effect should be a
welcoming one so that both visitors and employees will enjoy being there. The placement of furniture should be such that the whole area
does not appear cluttered, but you do not want to have empty spaces that call out to be filled in some way.
Having coffee tables with flowers and magazines adds to the office effect, while making visitors feel
comfortable. Chairs should match either the toppers or the carpeting to create an overall calming effect. Doors painted in colors than are
in contrast to the walls accentuate the furniture and wall coverings or the color of the walls.
